Under the title "Encounters", the Château d'Eau presents ninety silver photographs, taken by the author himself, exhibited throughout the galleries. After more than forty years during which he traveled extensively in Africa, Asia and India, The Château d'Eau asked Bernard Descamps to select images of significant encounters in these different places where he has stayed. Bernard Descamps' graphically constructed view reveals memorable images playing on the imbalance, the shifted angle of view and the proximity with the subject.
