In 2023, the Galerie Le Château d’Eau’s collections will be enriched by three new artists.
Gabriele Basilico
Following the exhibition, the Archivio Basilico donated a photograph of the 2003 trip to Beirut. It is a large-format contemporary print (100×130 cm). Gabriele Basilico returned to Beirut for Domus magazine in some of the places he had photographed on his first assignment in 1991.

Mous Lamrabat
Following the exhibition, Galerie Le Château d’Eau acquired 3 works by Belgian-Moroccan artist Mous Lamrabat. The works are contemporary prints from 2023, in formats 100×150 cm and 90 x 120 cm. Mous Lamrabat’s work focuses on the complexity of cultural identities and their individual appropriation between tradition and modernity. As an artist, he delivers a message of métissage and respect. As a photographer, Mous Lamrabat is a great colorist with palettes as vivid as they are subtle.

Greger Ulf Nilson
The Library is acquiring a set of seventy books designed by Greger Ulf Nilson with a large number of major photographers. This set represents an important entry into Swedish photography over the last forty years. This selection is also a retrospective of Greger Ulf Nilson’s work as a designer, curator and graphic artist.
